As we begin 2026, we’re excited to kick off Quarter 3 and Semester 2.
At FPC, courses are graded using a half-credit system, which means Semester 2 is a fresh start for students. Grades earned during Semester 1 reflect the first half of the course only and are not averaged with Semester 2 grades. Semester 1 grades have already been finalized and calculated into students’ GPAs.
Throughout this month, our Intervention Team will be meeting with 9th and 10th grade students to review GPAs, set academic goals, and answer questions about progress and graduation planning. These meetings are designed to support students and ensure they feel confident moving forward.
