Activities
Flagler Palm Coast High School offers a variety of opportunities for students to participate in clubs and organizations. Involvement in these co-curricular and extra-curricular clubs and organizations helps students academically by reinforcing lessons learned in the classroom. By engaging with their peers in group settings, students will develop valuable skills and build confidence.

New ECG Requirements
To help ensure the safety and well-being of our students, Flagler Schools is requiring all high school students wanting to participate in athletics, JROTC, Marching Band, or Color Guard to complete a one-time electrocardiogram (ECG) prior to participation.

AFJROTC is a citizenship program designed to "Build Better Citizens."
The drill team and color guard meet twice per week, to practice for drill competitions throughout the state of Florida. Cadets learn about how to be successful in life, leadership and their communities. The more technical part of the program involves the study of life skills, science of flight, aviation history, and space exploration. The AFJROTC completes numerous community service projects.

The mission of the Flagler Palm Coast High School Athletic Training Student Aide Program is to offer students an opportunity and environment to learn about the field of Athletic Training as it applies to the high school setting. This program is a privilege and not a student right. The program will provide the highest standard of care for the Flagler Palm Coast High School student-athlete population. This standard of care will be set and expected by the Head Athletic Trainer. The program will allow the Athletic Training Student Aides opportunities to learn and perform a high standard of care to the student athletes under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer. There will be an application process for membership.

Book Club aims to create a welcoming space where students can share their love for reading and explore new perspectives together. The club focuses on group discussions, creative activities, and community projects that help students strengthen their communication and critical-thinking skills. It also encourages curiosity, empathy, and creativity by connecting stories to real-world experiences. Bring Change 2 Mind at FPCHS is an extension of the national non-profit organization with the mission of ending the stigma, bringing awareness, and stopping the discrimination surrounding mental illness in our community and at our school. We will incorporate lectures, activities, and promote student mental health education and acceptance. All students are encouraged and welcome to attend our meeting and join the club at any time during the school year.

The Bunnell FFA at Flagler-Palm Coast High School was chartered in 1937. We offer members a wide variety of opportunities that promote personal growth, premier leadership and career success. The National FFA Organization encourages the practical application of technical skills and individual growth.Chapter activities include community service, team building, competitions and conferences. Through these activities members develop communication, problem solving and leadership skills that will help them on their path to success.

All FPCHS Agriscience Foundations, Veterinary Assisting and Agritechnology students will be members of the Bunnell FFA through Florida’s affiliation program. We encourage all agriculture students to find a way to be involved in FFA!
Parents and community supporters are encouraged to be involved in the Flagler County FFA Alumni and Supporters, prior FFA membership is not required! Meetings for this group occur on the 2nd Monday of each month, at 6:30 pm in 6-107.

A student organization that encourages the development of business and leadership skills through academic conferences and competitions.
Competitions include written tests which cover business and marketing information, as well as role-playing and problem-solving events. Students are judged on the basis of their ability to develop and communicate sound, creative, and thorough solutions to problematic situations.
DECA will work on projects and campaigns throughout the school year, such as the career fair, to support FPC and the entrepreneurship program.

The Ebony Society of Flagler-Palm Coast High School focuses on African American culture, history and community service. The activities and experiences promote cultural awareness and connection between African American and varied world cultures.
Students participate in community service projects that capture and extend their experiences, learn effective methods to successfully navigate the college admissions process, and engage in team building activities; including leadership development training, creating Public Service Announcements (PSAs), and conducting an annual fundraiser. Members also have opportunities to participate in educational and business related virtual field trips.

FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is a robotics competition which students are able to participate in. They compete head to head with a robot they build. design, and program. They then use this robot to compete in competitions in an alliance style against other teams. FTC is for the students who wish to become engineers or explore the STEM world. FIRST Tech Challenge provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with robotics and problem solving.

The Student Advisory Council is the organizing body of the Flagler County Youth Center. The Student Advisory Council is responsible for setting and enforcing all facility rules and regulations, as well as creating and participating in a number of Community Service events and projects. Students who participate qualify for Community Service hours, and seniors are eligible to apply for two scholarships sponsored by the Youth Center.

FPC Dance Company (By audition per event) - Events include the FPC Pep Rallies, 2 concert stage performances, and the Volusia County Dance Assessment. Dancers rehearse after school for these events. Dancers should be registered and active in the FPC Dance Courses and maintain an overall 2.0 GPA to participate.

The FPC Chorus consists of the Formality Singers Mixed Ensemble (all voice types), the Formality Treble Chorus (sopranos and altos), and the Vocal Ensemble (all voice types). All choruses perform a variety of musical styles including musical theater, popular, jazz, and classical. . A chorus member can add the Vocal Ensemble class to have more opportunities to perform as a soloist or with an ensemble.
The FPC Choruses and Vocal Ensemble consistently perform at district and state level Music Performance Assessments , seasonal concerts, local community events and special events such as the Epcot Candlelight Processional.

The FlaglerPalm Coast High School Band consists of three Symphonic Bands, two Jazz Ensembles, Marching Band, Colorguard (Starlets) - see Starlets, IB Music, AP Music Theory, and Instrumental Techniques.
The groups consistently participate at Florida Bandmasters' Association District and State Music Performance Assessments. Other performances are given throughout the year at the Flagler Auditorium, FPCHS football games, local parades, and community events.

Unity! What does this mean to us? It means to come together as a family...to make our steppers' individual skills shine as bright as an emerald!
We will nurture and develop leadership skills, teamwork, creativity, communication, responsibility and more! This program will help students at FPC become more engaged with the school community, as well as surrounding community, showing what FPC has to offer.
Steppers will learn proper formation, voice projection/intonation skills, rhythmic movement and stage presence.

Key Club is part of the Kiwanis International family, and many clubs are sponsored by local Kiwanis clubs. Members can qualify for scholarships, attend the District Convention, run for officer positions, and receive a Key Club lapel pin if they pay dues.Key Club's goal is to teach leadership through service to others. The International Thespian Society is an organization for actors, vocalists, and technical designers who strive for excellence in theatre.
Mission Statement:
The troupe is the honors component of the school's theatre program. It's purpose shall be the advancement of standards of excellence in theatre. The primary mission of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA) is to promote and honor outstanding artistic merit, leadership, and academic achievement in students. The FPCHS chapter participates in numerous events in the state of Florida, to encourage well-rounded dance artists to become leaders in their communities, before and after graduation. Induction requirements include 30 credits in dance activities, a GPA of 3.5 or higher, and teacher recommendations.

Future Problem Solving is an program that teaches students how to think critically and creatively to solve hypothetical future problems. Students apply problem-solving skills to existing problems in their school, community, or state. FPC emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving strategies, and effective communication. Students use creative problem-solving process to develop a plan of action, and then implement this plan. Problem solving through community service bridges the gap between school and the real world. Creative thinkers and writers are needed, as well as those who want to make a difference in the community!

The Flagler Palm Coast Indoor Track Club is a fitness club at FPC. Membership is open to all students at Flagler Palm Coast High School of all grades and abilities.
The FPC Indoor Track and Field Club’s mission is to build the local high school track and field community and act as a social network that supports participants of high school age and a range of abilities. Its main focus is to expose students in the high school to the benefits of a healthy lifestyle through providing behavioral physical fitness programs and health and wellness awareness through the exposure to training for indoor track and field events and meets. Competitions are on Saturdays and Sundays. Members do not have to attend daily meetings, but have the opportunity to do so. This club will no longer meet after February 11, 2023.

Mu Alpha Theta is an honor society dedicated to promoting mathematical learning, both within and outside of the chapter. The National Honor Society has a long established record of holding its members to high standards of academic excellence, leadership and service within the school and community, involvement in school activities and qualities of exemplary character.
Selection for National Honor Society is held in the spring, for students in 10th and 11th grades who have attended FPC for at least one full semester, and maintain a cumulative weighted GPA of 3.75 or higher. Students applying for the program must be able to demonstrate they have completed both community and school service, as well as have a recommendation letter from someone who is NOT a family member nor affiliated with FPCHS in any way.

The Starlets are the color guard and dance team, focused around visual performances during the Fall with the Bulldog Marching Band. Members of the Flagler-Palm Coast High School Student Government Association (SGA) strive to promote school spirit, encourage peers to focus on achievement and celebrate their success, all while serving the community. SGA members are committed to serving others by creating a positive school climate and culture that includes ALL students and celebrates ALL successes. The SGA “Leads, Serves, and Represents” through long hours on projects, activities, and community service. The group is always open to new members.
The SGA motto is “Expect Excellence,” therefore grades, discipline records, and character are a large part of the membership criteria. There is an elective class is offered to SGA members to support the activities they sponsor. To be eligible for a seat in this class, students must be at the top of the "action hours earned" list, and be a member of the after-school club for a minimum of one year.
