About the Program
This program offers a coherent sequence of rigorous courses aligned with challenging academic standards and industry-relevant technical knowledge and skills. It prepares students for postsecondary education and careers within the Building Construction career cluster through competency-based, applied learning. Students develop technical proficiency, academic knowledge, higher-order reasoning, problem-solving abilities, professional work habits, employability skills, and occupation-specific skills across multiple areas of building construction.

Career Opportunities
This program prepares students to enter the construction trades, as well as create the opportunity to gain college credits specifically in the area of construction management.
Industry Certification Opportunities
- The Building Construction Technology program offers certification options via the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).
- Certifications available include NCCER Core, NCCER Construction 1, & NCCER Construction 2.
