Seniors

The Senior Class is thrilled to announce that Flagler Palm Coast High School will continue with the Senior painted parking spots! Allowing senior students to paint their own parking spots is a great way to improve school pride and friendships. We encourage students to express themselves through positive artwork, to beautify the campus, to build school spirit, to create a tradition and support Senior Class activities and events.

Requirements - Must have and maintain a 2.0 GPA, no more than 5 level 1 referrals, and NO level 2 referrals during the 2024-2025 school year. If this is not met your spot will be painted over and forfeited. 

All students that are interested in painting a parking spot must RSVP (which is located in the contract) and complete the Senior Painted Spot Contract. 

Design, RSVP and completed contract is due to Mrs. Fretterd by 2:00pm on July 24, 2024.

Painting will be on Friday, July 26, 2024 and July 27, 2025 from 8:00am - 1:00pm.

Quick Tips

In order to be featured in the FPC Yearbook, Senior Section, pictures must be taken by CADY. The FPC Yearbook senior section will include two different poses from your CADY sessions; one formal yearbook and one casual pose of your choice.
    
    
Please note that pictures taken with private photographers will NOT be included in the FPC Yearbook.
    
You may schedule senior pictures at the Jacksonville or Orlando studio locations if you wish for a more personalized experience. The cost is the same. If you’d rather take your photos at FPCHS, photographers will come to FPCHS. 

CADY Studios will be at Flagler Palm Coast High School on the following dates. Appointments must be made on the CADY Studios website and you must select from the following scenes: yearbook, vintage, brick or exposure. The Road shoots require a minimum of 30 students signed-up in order to keep the session. If we have to cancel the roadshoot, Mrs. Fretterd will email all those it impacts.

Selecting FPCHS as a Location

• Visit the Cady Studios website     
• Select/Type your school name; Click start now
• Only select from these “travel” SCENES
  • Yearbook (formal backdrop)
  • Cap and Gown (not an option but included for everyone at all levels)
  • Brick
  • Vintage
  • Exposure    
• Select SESSION (how many different backdrops and add ons you want). The less expensive options are at the bottom.
• On the "Schedule your session" page, FPC is listed as a STUDIO LOCATION. I    
  Weekend appointments fill up very quickly! Visit the CADY website  and schedule now.

Senior Cap and Gown Order Deadline is December 15, 2024. 

The only way to guarantee that the cap and gown will arrive on time is to place the order by the due date of December 15th.

Purchase your cap and gown via the Josten’s website. 

On the website you are able to order graduation announcements, apparel, extra tassels, keepsakes, memorabilia, and class rings.

If you are only interested in the cap, gown and tassel it should come to an estimated $45.00. If you place the order after December 15th there will be a late fee added to this amount and no guarantee that it will arrive on time.

Cap and Tassel: If you want to purchase the tassel you MUST also purchase a cap. Please call 321-242-2055 to place your order.

The Class of 2025 first senior meeting will be on October 23, 2024 in the auditorium from 8:15am - 10:00am. At this meeting we discuss IMPORTANT information including, but not limited to:

• Grad Bash
• Prom
• Cap and Gown Orders
• Senior Pictures
• Yearbook
• Graduation Ceremony
• Other Possible Event

Immediately following the meeting we will move to the 800 Gym where we will take the Class of 2025 Panoramic. 

Grad Bash 2025 is the senior trip to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure and will take place for the Senior Class of 2025 on April 25th
The paperwork will be available to Download here when we get closer to the event. 

Paperwork must be printed and turned in on paper. There are paper copies in the Activities Office.

• No more than 15 unexcused absences for the year on the day of the trip. (and you MUST be in school on trip date)
• No Out of School Suspensions
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 
• School debts and financial obligations must be cleared --- check with Cafe and Technology

Purchasing a Ticket:  
Must have completed paperwork in order to purchase a ticket. 
Tickets will go on sale on December 6th at 7:30am in front of the main entrance.

To guarantee a bus seat, please make sure you have your 1st payment of $80 cash or $82 credit  (with the completed paperwork) on December 6th. You may also pay the full amount of $160 Cash $164 Credit
The second payment of $80 cash or $82 credit is due on February 4th. 
There are no refunds on Grad Bash tickets.
There are only 2 buses reserved which limits us to 90 seniors. 
We are accepting cash, credit card or tap. 
The paperwork WILL BE  available in the Activities Office, 12th grade Schoology course 

Oscar Night - This is how FPCHS recognizes Senior Superlatives. Voting will be held on the 12th grade Schoology course.

Juniors and Seniors are invited to attend the 2025 Prom on May 9, 2025 at The Hilton in Daytona Beach.

An informational meeting will be held in the Auditorium closer to the end of the year.  At the meeting we will have distribution of Cap and Gown, Honor Medallions, Graduation Tickets, and be selling Parking Passes.
Students MUST have a photo ID to pick up your items.

Josten’s will be on campus to distribute and answer any questions you may have.

All Senior Debt must be paid and the student must be on track to graduate in order to pick up graduation supplies.
Please check with the following departments for debt:

• Visit the Technology Office for technology related debt - MySchoolBucks is an online service to pay all student fees with a credit card, debit card, or electronic check. If you would like to pay in cash you may do so during 1st period with Racheal Patin at FPC.
• Visit the cafeteria for lunch debt - Debt can be paid on the School Café website 
• Visit the BLC for any library book/ textbook debt -  The Media Center Specialists have been emailing, school email address, to notify students that have debt. Seniors, please check your email. You may pay your debt in the BLC with Ms Monica or Ms Billek.
• Any of your club sponsors or sport coaches - You may pay your debt to each individual organization you owe the money to. 

Please make sure to get a receipt when making a payment. 
This meeting is IMPORTANT TO ATTEND and will go over the graduation day details- Times, attire, distribute graduation tickets, Honor medallions, we will sell Parking passes ($5.00 CASH) and much more.

Students will have the opportunity to walk the halls of the elementary school they attended in Flagler Schools. There is no transportation provided for this event. Each student must find their own transportation to and from the elementary school. The graduate MUST bring their cap and gown to participate. The walk will start promptly at the designated time.
There will be an RSVP to attend which will be posted here as we approach the event. Students may sign up for multiple schools, but will only have access to this form once so please make sure the selection is complete before submitting. There will be details about each school on the Google Form. Please make sure to write them down before submitting the form.
 

Graduation practice will be held at FPCHS in the 800 gym on May 27th, 3:00pm - 5:30pm. Graduates will find their seats and we will run through the order of events for the graduation ceremony. We will also have the senior Signing Board, have time to sign yearbooks and one more chance to buy parking passes, pick up your cap and gown, and get your initial tickets (amount to be determined). If transportation is an issue please contact Mrs. Fretterd ASAP so she can make arrangements for you to ride the bus. Please dress school appropriately. 

This is a MANDATORY graduation practice for all 2025 graduates.

Tickets will be distributed at the End of Year senior meeting. Date to be determined.

Ticket Distribution Process

Each student who has completed the graduation requirements will receive tickets at the end of the year senior meeting. Each graduating senior is entitled to (amount TBD) tickets free of charge, if they are on track to graduate. Please don’t take more than needed.

Regalia

Honor cords, stoles, medallions, or school related awards are the only things to be worn on top of gowns. All regalia must be received from and approved by FPCHS. Students may only wear honors cords, medals, and/or stoles that are distributed and/or approved by Flagler Palm Coast High School and Flagler Schools. Please visit the Graduation Regalia page to view the district policy.

Graduate Attire

Graduates are not allowed to decorate caps. Please refrain from putting anything on top of your caps. 

There are no color restrictions. Please wear a clean and appropriate outfit. Please plan to wear a button up dress shirt or blouse, dress pants or a skirt, a dress or a pants suit, tie or a bowtie, dress shoes (no sneakers or flip flops). Heels are not required. 
 

The Flagler Palm Coast High School Class of 2025 will graduate on (Date Pending) at 7:00pm at Daytona Beach Ocean Center. Doors will open at 6:00pm. Seniors need to arrive by 5:30pm.  The graduation ceremony will be live streamed. The link will be posted on the school website closer to the date of the ceremony. 
 
There will be a mandatory graduation practice on May 27th at FPCHS 3:00pm.

LOCATION

Graduation will take place Daytona Beach Ocean Center. It will take you close to an hour to drive to the Ocean Center from Palm Coast due to traffic. Please plan to arrive early. Graduates report to the expo hall on the west side of the building, spectators go to the arena.

The Ocean Center requires everyone who needs a seat to have a ticket. Tickets are limited. Graduates do not need a ticket. If you have any questions about who needs a ticket and who does not or about specific seating questions please contact the Ocean Center  Daytona Beach Ocean Center.

Bags

Seniors are not allowed to carry anything under or over their gowns. Please refrain from bringing anything. Every ticket holder, including children, may carry an approved clear bag or a clutch purse. One clear bag no larger than 12”x6”x12” or a one-gallon clear “Ziploc”-style bag. One small clutch bag or purse no larger than 6.5”x6.5”, with or without a strap. Diapers and wipes may be carried in a clear bag; however, diaper bags are not permitted.

Additional clothing, blankets, etc. are allowed, as long as they are carried loosely; Preferably over the shoulder so they can get through screening faster or in an approved clear bag. Small cameras, binoculars, and cell phones may be carried loosely or in an approved clear bag. Balloons, flowers and large items will not be allowed in the Ocean Center. Please leave those in the car or at home to celebrate after the ceremony. 

Ocean Center security measures will be in place for all Flagler Schools graduations.
