Course Selection

A critical part of a student's education is the selection of courses and programs. Students should consider their long-term goals and plan course selections accordingly. A complete listing of courses can be found on the Course Descriptions page. Please use the these descriptions to guide course selection choices.

2024–25 Course Selection

Incoming 9th Grade Students (Class of 2028)

FPC Campus Preview on March 28, 2024 at 6pm- Students and families can visit our campus, tour our elective course options, and meet FPC staff!

FPC will visit BTMS, ITMS, and Imagine between April 1 and April 10

BTMS Students will input course requests into Skyward on April 8 and 9, ITMS and Imagine students will complete the paper form of the Course Request guide and turn into their counselors/admin by April 10.

Current 9th–11th Grade Students
  • Students will begin the course selection process on February 7th, 2024 and submit course requests by March 8, 2024. 
  • February 5 course selection sheets are distributed during English classes
  • February 7 – February 14 students input course requests in Skyward
  • February 12 –March 8 students meet 1:1 with their guidance counselors during their English classes
    • The course selection sheet must be completed and entered into Skyward by the student prior to meeting with their guidance counselor

Programs of Choice

Flagler Schools uses School Choice as a strategy to ensure that students receive the education that best meets their needs. The Programs of Choice offered at each of our high schools are School Choice options that allow students to enroll in a specific set of courses with a designated focus. Students accepted into these programs have the opportunity to explore options outside of their attendance area zone.

All zoned and out of zone 8th grade students who are interested in Programs of Choice at FPCHS should complete and submit application linked below.
