History

Flagler Palm Coast High School has been the Flagship of Flagler Schools since opening in the fall of 1974. Originally serving 500 students in grades 7 through 12, FPC has embarked on a journey that reflects the growth and development of Flagler County. Serving as the only high school in Flagler Schools until 2005, FPC has played a crucial role in shaping the academic experiences of generations of students.  Over the years, Flagler Palm Coast High School has undergone significant expansion from the original main building. FPC has adapted to meet the changing needs of its students and the community, expanding its facilities and academic offerings.  FPC currently serves 2,600 students in grades 9 through 12, has 34 athletic programs, over 40 clubs and organizations, 20 different types of elective courses, Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate courses, as well as rigorous Programs of Study that bridge the classroom to careers.
